Founder 

Geraldine grew up in Kensington, MD and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Silver Spring. After spending several years in the accounting industry, she decided to return to school, obtaining an Associates Degree in The Culinary Arts.

 

After graduation, Geraldine decided to turn her passion for helping families into a business, and founded “A Mothers Hand”. A Mothers Hand is woman owned and operated, and currently working on Federal and State Certifications indicating such. 

 

When A Mothers Hand first opened, we had a senior pup named Onyx. During her last two years she needed a lot of medical care, attention and love. I dedicate a lot of my work to her memory, as she was a huge inspiration and part of A Mothers Hand.
